Saturday night I took pictures at Dave and Kate’s wedding at the Newberry Library in downtown Chicago. The weather was a perfect 80 degrees, and the venue was immaculate!
On Friday night I shot pictures of a gorgeous wedding at Stern Grove. Meredith looked perfect in her handmade gown, and the service was simple and sweet. The cake was made by Meredith’s good friend Cara, and was one of the prettiest cakes I’d ever seen. She did such a good job!
In a small intimate ceremony, Wade and Melissa tied the knot at Jenkins Arboretum in Berwyn, PA!
There was a 40% chance of rain that day, but our fingers were crossed and we lucked out as the rain didn’t appear until late during the reception. The arboretum was a perfect spot for a wedding. The vows were taken in front of a beautiful white hydrangea bush. It was a touching ceremony and the officiant Helen Collins was just delightful.
After the ceremony, everyone returned to the groom’s parents home, also in Berwyn, and enjoyed a larger reception. It was a perfect continuation of the garden ceremony, because the celebration was primarily held on the deck under a canopy of huge oak trees.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
